Testimonials from Clients About Their Recent Educational Tours to Europe

"When I think of travel I think of Lifelong Learning Tours. From the orientation to the final farewells, everything is well organized and done with a touch of class. Their hotel research pays off every trip with a quality environment to call home and the selection of optional excursions brings balance and a well rounded experience to the adventure. From the Amalfi coast to Paris to a Mediterranean cruise - each trip has been with quality at a reasonable price. I never look at other options and wait to see that the next year will bring. As a RN the CEU session brings an added dimension and useful information that can be incorporated into the journey. I have recommended Lifelong Learning Tours to others and would highly recommend them for their excellent value and comprehensive learning. "

"Paris, Mediterranean Cruise, French/Italian Riviera and Amalfi Coast trips have all been “WOWS, the destinations, accommodations, attractions have all been carefully planned and executed to fit the travelers expectations. The education component, both in the class room and during the trip, have provided unique ways to incorporate the themes into patient care. Trips are completely carefree for participants because all of the research and planning have been carefully and skillfully researched in advance by Meg Carson."

"If there were a designation above first class, Lifelong Learning Tours would merit that accolade."

"
We never appreciated Renaissance art and its record of history until travelling with Lifelong Learning Tours. We became excited about Roman and Greek history in a whole new way and continue to yearn for more. Friends who have returned from European trips with other groups did not come back as excited as we were. These groups are so personable and we’ve made so many new friends. Communication is the best and every opportunity is made to give you the information and answer your questions well in advance. We never would have dreamed traveling through Europe could be so easy. Every detail (easy transportation, great tour guides, the best hotels in the best locations, etc.) is taken care of – you have only to enjoy the experience. These tours always have just the right amount of group tours (like the first morning walking tour that gives you your bearings), exciting optional tours and lots of time on your own. And the new tours are ever changing… like the garden theme for the Italian Lakes Tour. The three trips we have taken with Lifelong Learning Tours are some of the best experiences of our lives. We hope to travel again and again with these fabulous people. Thanks Meg and Staff!!!"

Well planned! Safe! Great adventures! Reputable! Great value for the money. The tours allow investigation of local cultures/countryside & the hotels are top-notch. Tour guides are selected for knowledge and personality & we travel on air-conditioned, modern vehicles. The information night allows for thorough travel planning. Meg makes traveling easy! She is so caring, enthusiastic, accommodating and never lacking in fun and surprises. I have made six tours and I am looking forward to the next."

"
I love going on these trips. You choose such interesting things to do and see. I’ve been on six of the trips and thought that I would mention what were highlights for me:
- 2006 French & Italian Riviera – the day touring the Cinque Terre by train, foot and boat was fascinating. The five villages were so pretty and quaint and amazing. The inhabitants had to be part mountain goat.
- 2006 Baltic Cruise – Oslo was a place that was not on my “to do” list. I loved it – especially the Vigeland Sculpture Garden. The sculptures of those hundreds of people were so involving.
- 2007 Paris – How do you choose a favorite in Paris? Our days touring the Louvre and D’Orsay were wonderful. The guides added so much to the experience.
- 2008 Amalfi Coast – I wanted to go on this trip for Pompeii alone. Again our guide was the best. She took us back 2000 years and I could envision Russell Crowe as the Gladiator in his quarters, the vendors hawking products on the main street, the “ladies” selling themselves under the rather vivid menus of services, and the horror of the volcano wiping everyone out.
- 2009 Spain – The Roman aqueduct in Sergovia blew me away. It was 2000 years old, several stories high, and put together with no mortar. I love those Roman engineers!
- 2010 Italian Lakes – Although Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, the villas, and palaces were wonderful; the highlight of the trip was seeing da Vinci’s “Last Supper”.
There are so many wonderful things on these trips. These have been my favorites. Thank you." (Ginny M.)
